Welcome to the new DineOriginalsColumbus.com. site!

After 7 years our website has undergone a significant facelift.  The terrific new format includes an improved profile of each restaurant as well as news features that will keep you up to date. It’s going to be much easier for you to be in the know about our events, the releases of discounted gift certificates, and the remarkable range of offerings at our 40 member restuarants.

By subscribing to our Enews list during the month of October, you will be  automatically entered into a drawing for $1,000 worth of Dine Originals Columbus gift certificates. Imagine the dinners, the nights on the town, the regifting possibilities…in fact, you might want to take November 1 as a vacation day just in case we call you with the news that you are our winner!

We’ve also launched a weekly column entitled Pique;  it’s meant to stir your appetitie and your interest.  A new post will  appear each Monday.

As we kick things off, col3umbusdayswe wanted to take a moment to tell you about Experience Columbus Days. Experience Columbus Days is an invitation to residents of Central Ohio to explore your own backyard over the Columbus Day weekend (October 9th to the 12th). During this event, you can get 50% off to many of the city’s top cultural attractions, and 25% off of your bill (for two, food portion only, must have printed flyer in hand) at any Dine Originals Columbus restaurant. It’s your opportunity to rediscover all the wonderful attractions and local dining opportunities in our great city.

To participate in Experience Columbus Days, please click the graphic to be taken to the Experience Columbus website. From there, you can print out a flier that is your ticket to huge savings around the city.

It’s worth noting that Experience Columbus launched this promotion three years ago, long before “staycations” had become a buzz word.  Columbus ~ always one step ahead.  No, really!

We thank our Webmaster Nate Schmidt of Eat Like a Local, and our designer and creative collaborator, Christine Ryan of CgRYAN::design, for the months of attention they have given our website project.  We’re pretty sure they will both be talking about “too many cooks in the kitchen” for quite some time…with no sense of irony!
