We are very sad to announce the closing of one our Dine Originals Columbus restaurants. The Bexley Monk will be closing after serving the Bexley and greater Columbus community for over 26 years. The Bexley Monk has been a staple of upscale dining and was the first restaurant in the Columbus area to install a wood-fired oven. Although, it was also a popular Jazz destination, it began running into financial troubles in 2004. Owners Remo Stirpe and Chef Ben Geltzer had taken over last year and were simply not able to overcome the aging building and the effects of the past.

Please be assured that we stand with them during this difficult time for guests and staff and we will honor InstaGift and Dine Originals Certificates at any of our member restaurants. We are also assisting where we are able to with jobs for the former staff.

We applaud the long tenure and the culinary diversity the Bexley Monk brought to Columbus dining for over a quarter of a century!

It is our pleasure and privilege to serve you at any of member Dine Originals Columbus restaurants!
