Alana’s New Year’s Eve Menu

duck and andouille gumbo
vegan tomato and dal lentil with tamarind chutney
and one other…
starters
the pinot friendly cheese plate with truffled pecorino and mushroom brie with porcini focaccia toasts
surf and turf tartare of prime beef fillet and yellowfin tuna with avocado, soy and mirin
lobster tail stuffed with crab and lobster remoulade on butter leaf lettuce
crab and tasso cheesecake with green onion coulis
some surprises
vegan piri-piri of tofu with peanuts, garlic and chiles~all spicy like
salads
fried oyster caesar salad
simple and petite salad tossed in a red wine vinaigrette with a sprinkle of flat rock
frisée and apple salad tossed in a preserved lemon vinaigrette
main courses
tournedo of beef with a jumbo lump crab cake smothered by lobster thermidor
a surprise
Indian spiced bouillabaisse of red snapper and monkfish
classic cassoulet with confit duck, wild boar, fancy sausage and lavender white beans
ménage a trois of jerked pumpkins with pigeon peas and rice
= can be prepared vegetarian and maybe vegan
desserts
flourless chocolate tort with grand marnier macerated berries
dark chocolate rosewater crème brulee with maldon sea salt
