The Granville Art Affair jury has selected 85 artists for participation in this year’s show. Event promoters Sandy Libertini and Melinda Moore are delighted that the selection includes over 40 new artists, insuring that the show presents new art every year. This year’s participants include artists from throughout Ohio plus Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
The 2011 Granville Art Affair will feature all forms of artistic media at all price points including oil and acrylics, clay, wood, watercolor, fiber, ceramics, metal, jewelry, leather, glass, and more. Last year’s two day event drew over 3,500 visitors. Held on the Great Lawn of the Bryn Du Mansion, admission to the Granville Art Affair is free. Entertainment is provided both days, as well as an array of food vendors. Sunday’s event will include a Columbus Polo Club match.
This year’s Rotary Winemaker’s Dinner will be held on Friday evening, June 10, at the Bryn Du Mansion. Hosted by the renowned Nicola Biscardo of Verona, Italy and catered by Creative Cuisine of Columbus, the gourmet five-course meal promises to be an unforgettable dining experience. Tickets for the Winemaker’s Dinner are $125 and may be purchased at the Granville Inn or online at www.granvilleartaffair.com.
The Wine Festival, to be held on Saturday, June 11, will welcome 24 restaurants, six wine distributors and several Ohio wineries. A new addition to the Wine Festival this year is the Matesich Belgian Beer Garden. Wine Festival Tickets are $40 and may be purchased at Ross’ Granville Market, The Granville Inn or Park National Bank’s Granville Office. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.granvilleartaffair.com ($42) or at the gate on the day of the event ($50).
